E-mail Setup - Eudora 3.x

Note: Because of the 3MB mailbox limit, you must complete the following steps to prevent your mail from being blocked or deleted.

  • Open Eudora.
  • Click the Tools menu, choose Options.
  • Select the Incoming Mail category.
  • Make sure that the Leave mail on server box is unchecked.
  • Click OK to save the changes.

Eudora 3.x Configuration

  1.   Open Eudora. Click the Tools menu and choose Options.

  2.   Click on Getting Started.

  3.   In the POP Account text box, type your e-mail address.
        i.e.: memberid@castingyou.com

  4.   In the Real name text box, type your name.

  5.   In the Return Address text box, type your e-mail address.
        i.e.: memberid@castingyou.com

  6.   Under Category, select Hosts.

  7.   In the SMTP text box, type smtp.castingyou.com

  8.   Under Category, scroll down to Advanced Network and select it.

  9.   Uncheck Cache network info.

  10. Set Network open timeout to 900 seconds.

  11. Set Network timeout after to 900 seconds.

  12. Click the OK button.

Eudora 3.x is now configured to check your castingyou.com e-mail. To check your mail, choose Check Mail from the File menu.

E-mail Setup - Eudora 4.x

Note: Because of the 3MB mailbox limit, you must complete the following steps to prevent your mail from being blocked or deleted.

  • Open Eudora.

  • Click the Tools menu, choose Options.

  • Select the Incoming Mail category.

  • Make sure that the Leave mail on server box is unchecked.

  • Click OK to save the changes.

Eudora 4.x Configuration

  • Open Eudora. Click the Tools menu and choose Options.

  • Click on Getting Started.

  • In the Real Name text box, type your name.

  • In the Return Adress text box, type your e-mail address.

  • In the Incoming Mail Server text box, type pop.castingyou.com

  • In the Login Name text box, type your Member ID.

  • Click on Sending Mail.

  • In the SMTP server text box, type smtp.castingyou.com

  • Click OK to save your settings.

Eudora 4.x is now configured to check your castingyou.com e-mail. To check your mail, choose Check Mail from the File menu. 

E-mail Setup - Eudora Pro

Eudora Pro 4.x Configuration

  1.   Open Eudora. Click the Tools menu and choose Options.

  2.   Click on Getting Started..

  3.   In the Real Name text box, type your name

  4.   In the Return Adress text box, type your e-mail address.

  5.   In the Incoming Mail Server text box, type pop.castingyou.com

  6.   In the Login Name text box, type your Member ID.

  7.   Select Checking Mail.

  8.   In the Mail Server text box, type pop.castingyou.com

  9.   In the Login Name text box, type your Member ID.

  10. Select Incoming Mail.

  11. In the Server Configuration text box, type POP.

  12. In the Authentication Style text box, type Passwords.

  13. Select Sending Mail.

  14. In the Return Address text box,type your full e-mail address (memberid@castingyou.com).

  15. Leave the Domain to add to unqualified addresses blank.

  16. In the Smtp Server text box, type smtp.castingyou.com

  17. Click OK.

Eudora Pro is now configured to check your castingyou.com e-mail. To check your mail, choose Check Mail from the File menu.
