E-mail Setup - Netscape Mail 3.x

 Note: Because of the 3MB mailbox limit, you must complete the following steps to prevent your mail from being blocked or deleted.

  • Go to the Edit menu and select preferences.

  • Click on Mail and News.

  • Select Mail servers, then select pop.castingyou.com and click Edit.

  • Click the POP tab and make sure that the Leave mail on server box is unchecked.

  • Click OK to save the changes.

Netscape Mail 3.x Configuration

  1. Open Netscape Navigator.

  2. From the menu bar, click Options and select Mail and News Preferences.

  3. Click the Servers tab.

  4. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server text box, type smtp.castingyou.com

  5. In the Incoming Mail (POP3) Server text box, type pop.castingyou.com

  6. In the POP3 User Name text box, enter your username.

  7. Click the Identity tab.

  8. In the Your Name text box, type your name.

  9. In the Your E-mail text box, type your e-mail address.
    For example:     memberid@castingyou.com

  10. In the Reply-to-Address text box, type your e-mail address.
    For example:     memberid@castingyou.com

  11. Click the OK button.

  12. From the menu bar, click Window and select Netscape Mail.

  13. Enter your password and click OK.

  14. Click File.

  15. Click Get New Mail.

E-mail Setup - Netscape Messenger 4.x

Netscape Messenger 4.x Configuration

  1. Click the Start button.

  2. From the Start menu, point to Netscape Communicator and choose Netscape Navigator.

  3. From the menu bar, click Edit and choose Preferences.

  4. From Mail & Groups click the Identity link.

  5. In the Full Name text box, type your name.

  6. In the E-mail Address text box, type your e-mail address.
    For example:     memberid@castingyou.com

  7. From Mail & Groups, click the Mail Server link.

  8. In the Mail server username text box, type your Member ID.

  9. In the Outgoing mail [SMTP] server text box, type smtp.castingyou.com

  10. In the Incoming Mail Server text box, type pop.castingyou.com

  11. Select POP3 (messages and folders are kept locally, on the hard disk).

  12. Click the OK button to close the window.
